How is the assembly proceeding?

- Hardwired Devices: These installations require more time as they involve connecting the device directly to the vehicle's power system. Installation time can range from 30 minutes to an hour or more per vehicle, depending on the specific truck model and the desired level of integration.

What is the typical lifespan of the telematics hardware?
Drawing on over 20 years of experience in telematics solutions, we observe that while the standard warranty period is one year, our hardware typically endures for five to ten years, and often significantly longer. In many instances, our devices outlast the initial vehicles, and users frequently utilize the hardware across two to three vehicle replacements. The longevity of our hardware is further supported by regular software updates, ensuring that the devices remain technologically current over an extended period.
Can functions be enhanced later?
Yes, all solutions can be combined with each other and expanded at any time. Often simply via FOTA - Firmware Over The Air. Apps, BLE tags, and CAN readers can be expanded later if necessary.
What happens when crossing borders within the EU or to the UK, NO, or CH?
Nothing! Our telematics/GPS tracking systems roam in all mobile networks, both nationally and internationally. The telematics systems always log onto the best mobile network. This means you are always informed live and in real time. In the event of a network failure, all data is temporarily stored and forwarded.
Is this all GDPR-compliant?
Of course! A legitimate interest is required if personal data comes into play or the data can be linked to individuals. Our solutions are used by large organizations: medium-sized enterprises, corporations, cooperatives, and public law institutions. Both the data protection officer and the works council or staff council must be involved in advance, and a corresponding order processing agreement must be drawn up.
Can the telematics data be connected to internal IT systems?
Yes, of course. There is a comprehensive API/interface. Data can be transferred back and forth with the highest level of security. Implementation takes 2-3 days as a standard, with complex order management requiring a maximum of 7-10 person-days.
