How is the assembly proceeding?

OBIDY³: The installation of the OBIDY³ is remarkably straightforward, as it is simply plugged into the vehicle's diagnostic socket. Should the socket's position be inconvenient or protected by a flap, a flat adapter is included to ensure a trouble-free connection. Our principle is: if it doesn't fit right away, we'll make it fit – that's our standard.

Speedy: The installation of the "Speedy" is designed so that virtually all customers can carry it out themselves. Only a positive and negative connection are required, and in some cases, an ignition positive. The connection is made very easily using a universal cable with U-clip connectors, which is simply clamped onto the vehicle battery. The vehicle start is intelligently detected by recognizing the engine or on-board voltage. Cool, right?

TachoTiTAN: The installation of the "TachoTiTAN" always takes place nationwide at a fixed price. Appointments are scheduled individually, and Saturdays are also possible. Our qualified technicians come to the vehicle locations for the installation appointment and carry out the professional installation. After successful testing of all functions, our technical back office team provides telephone release.

Vehicle Change: When a vehicle is changed, a new vehicle is first created in the online portal. The telematics system is then removed from the previous vehicle and installed in the new vehicle, as well as being linked ("married") in the system. This ensures that the complete history of the old vehicle remains available in the portal, and all processes are transparent and traceable at all times. This is particularly relevant for electronic logbooks, but also in logistics, where precise GPS data can serve as proof, for example in the case of unjustified damage claims.

Can functions be enhanced later?

Yes, all solutions can be combined with each other and expanded at any time. Often simply via FOTA - Firmware Over The Air. Apps, BLE tags, and CAN readers can be expanded later if necessary.

What happens when crossing borders within the EU or to the UK, NO, or CH?
Nothing! Our telematics/GPS tracking systems roam in all mobile networks, both nationally and internationally. The telematics systems always log onto the best mobile network. This means you are always informed live and in real time. In the event of a network failure, all data is temporarily stored and forwarded.

Is this all GDPR-compliant?

Of course! A legitimate interest is required if personal data comes into play or the data can be linked to individuals. Our solutions are used by large organizations: medium-sized enterprises, corporations, cooperatives, and public law institutions. Both the data protection officer and the works council or staff council must be involved in advance, and a corresponding order processing agreement must be drawn up.

Can the telematics data be connected to internal IT systems?

Yes, of course. There is a comprehensive API/interface. Data can be transferred back and forth with the highest level of security. Implementation takes 2-3 days as a standard, with complex order management requiring a maximum of 7-10 person-days. Currently, there are standardized connections in the transport logistics sector to TIMOCOM, Agheera/Deutsche Post/DHL, GateHouse/Project44, NIC-Place, Sixfold/Transporeon.
