AREALCONTROL GmbH
was founded in December 2003. Our mission is to supply and support telematics, IoT, GPS positioning, as well as tracking products & services for transportation, logistics, commerce, trade, craft and industrial companies.
- Since 2008, fiscal and data protection-compliant electronic logbooks have been successfully implemented for fleet management.
- Since 2014, we offer cloud-based forwarding software and transportation management systems.
- Due to a nationwide installation network, services and rollouts are carried out at a fixed price.
- Intelligent IoT devices with BLE tags are currently gaining in importance for tracking the supply chain and device management.
Our Management & Team
are experienced professionals with many years of management experience in the automotive, industrial, mechanical engineering, IT and the electrical industry.
The following are some of our Team's background-experiences :
- IBM software development. Specialist and executive positions at SKF, PFAFF Industrie and medium-sized companies with 100-1200 employees as Managing Director or VP Global Sales & Marketing as well as IT & Controlling, Sales and worldwide Business Development.
- Many years of experience as a Senior Consultant Automotive in the DEKRA Group for the German and European automotive industry and as Head of Processes & Quality of well-known manufacturers.
- The IT team consists of more than 20 engineers, IT architects, computer scientists, technicians and programmers as well as consultants.
- Locations: Stuttgart/DE, Lucerne/CH and Zwolle/NL. Arealcontrol is through local partners, also active in other countries.
Hardware & Manufacturing
- The actual hardware production is outsourced in the EU area and the pan-European cumulation.
- Firmware, features and functions are defined internally and coordinated with portal functions.
- The product/feature roadmap follows innovative ideas and new market requirements, i.e. customer requests.
- Long-lasting partnerships and cooperations with selected hardware, electronics and component suppliers.
- A high level of service quality is ensured due to our automotive service providers in the D|A|CH region as well as in other European countries.
