ArealPilot 360° is a modular, complete solution and includes the ArealPilot 360° TMS forwarding software developed by Arealcontrol and the ArealPilot Fleet & Order telematics solution, which has won several awards. The package also includes the well-known Microsoft Office programs and the new TruckTablet for Android, which can be screwed firmly into the holder or easily removed as required. The device has a robust housing with a thick silicone border and meets the requirements of protection class IP65. This means that the TruckTablet is protected against the ingress of dust and water jets.
PlanBoard is a new type of scheduling mask and is now part of the ArealPilot 360° TMS/telematics solution. The innovative screen view offers the dispatcher four quadrants for orders, resources, map views and critical limits. The orders can be distributed to the vehicles listed in the quadrant below using drag & drop. The resulting tours are shown graphically on a map in the adjacent quadrant. The fourth quadrant shows the driving time and payload resources available per tour as well as other critical limits in the form of bar charts. Color differentiations warn the dispatcher at a glance as soon as a tour plan violates legal requirements.
The ArealPilot 360° TMS forwarding software is designed for medium-sized companies and is integrated into Microsoft Office 365 with intranet and document management. The solution transparently maps the entire operational process and workflow in one system. The forwarding software is used by many transport companies and offers address, vehicle and personnel management as well as consistent order management with tariffing, scheduling, invoicing, dunning and document management.
The ArealPilot Fleet & Order telematics solution consists of a telematics app with GPS tracking, messaging and automated status reports. Also integrated is ArealPilot Navigation for trucks in Germany, Austria and Switzerland or optionally in Europe. Another component of the complete solution is the Bluetooth adapter "CANtooth", which can read and transmit the vehicle data from the FMS interface or the driving and rest times of the tachograph via remote query. The system is rounded off by an optional temperature monitoring system with temperature sensors. This works on the basis of an active RFID transmitter (tempRFID) or a BLE sensor (tempBLE). BLE stands for "Bluetooth Low Energy".
For normal work outside of pure logistics, Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel or Outlook are available. Microsoft Office 365 is the well-known Office programs from Microsoft with cloud services and innovative tools for collaboration.
With the price-performance model, Arealcontrol is specifically aimed at medium-sized transport/logistics companies, who can rent the entire solution very flexibly and in monthly installments. Prices for a full version start at EUR 59 per month and workstation.
