Vehicles operate on different routes, with different drivers, and under different shift schedules. Without structured data collection, the figures at the end of the month rarely paint a coherent picture. CAN Bus, FMS, and OBD

The data is collected via the CAN bus, FMS, and the OBD interface. The system thus reads data directly from the vehicle’s electronics and does not rely on external sensors or driver input. Fuel levels, refueling events, engine load, and mileage are continuously recorded and assigned to specific vehicles and time periods.

For diesel fleets with multiple locations, this distinction is even more important. The system can distinguish between a legitimate refueling and an unexplained drop in fuel level, thereby providing fleet managers with a factual basis for further investigation rather than relying on estimates.

Automated Reports

Fluctuations in fuel prices affect operating costs in ways that are difficult to predict without insight into actual consumption patterns. If consumption data is organized and broken down by vehicle, route, or driver, it is possible to establish the relationship between changes in diesel prices and the actual cost impacts on the entire fleet.

  • Refueling Log – Every fuel pump transaction is recorded with location, volume, and timestamp and cross-checked against data from the fuel tank sensors.
